SPLAT was created as part of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) Acting Queen City Shorts project in 2024. Lyd was the director, producer, and many other roles on this set, including production design, costumes, props, and 1st AD. This film went on to perform in festivals and won Best Student Short at the Cindependent Film Festival and the F3: Queen City Film Festival, Film Curation, & Film Awards for May 2024.
